The marketing “trick” that is most exasperating right now is: Try it free for 30 days or Just pay shipping/handling. What they don’t tell you is that at the end of 30 days you owe the full price of the product – and they don’t tell you the price of the product anywhere in the advertisement.

Thanks, Judy, for the great info you’ve provided. I’d totally forgotten about the Silva system and will check that out.

I’ve noticed, too, for myself, that my rituals also change with the seasons. We’re in Oregon at the moment and the mornings are quite cold. Too cold to sit outside comfortably and that’s where I like to do my Morning Pages and sip my coffee. So sometimes, even if the ritual itself doesn’t change, the location for doing it does. And I find that the location makes a big difference to me. Glad you brought this up because that helps me in understand what happens with my inner-mojo as the season’s change and I hadn’t really thought about that before.

Hi Marty. (Is Bernice talking about “brainwave entrainment”? Lots of info comes up when you google it.) Thanks for sharing that video! Really liked the explanation about the path to mastery. About meditation: I just yesterday rediscovered The Silva Method, which I’d learned years ago from a set of TAPES narrated by Jose Silva. And voila, he’s mentioned in this video. (His daughter Laura Silva is the president now. Check out her Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/LauraSilvaQuesada.) A free course and audio is available online at http://www.silvalifesystem.com. I listened to the audio yesterday (original tapes are long gone), and I was refreshed and so energetic that I accomplished tons of work for the rest of the day. Told my husband it was better than a nap! So I highly recommend the program. I will be making it a part of my daily ritual, which I’ve noticed tends to change with the seasons.

Great post, Marty. I am one of those who hates selling. I can, however, sell people on stuff that I really believe in as long as I know none of the money is coming my way. As soon as it’s something that I might financially benefit from, I turn into a babbling idiot. This is something that I am working on! And reminders from people like you help push me along.

Thanks Cynthie, and welcome to my community. Surprisingly, it was quite cool at Burning Man this year. The days were warm and the nights were downright cold. Life is great out here on the road no matter how often you do it, so I encourage you to make that dream come true!

Hi Marty,

I just joined your group a week or so ago. I think it was through Jennifer Davey JJS Coaching.

I’ve just barely launched my marketing company here north of Houston, and ready (almost) to go full force. Marketing plan in hand. I help small businesses get more clients in less time using web, email, and print promotions. I have been doing it for a few years part time, and many years in corporate product marketing before that, but now I’m putting a business name to it.

I have 3 dogs, 4 turtles, and 2 kids, but not in that order…lol. My husband might start to help with some of the graphics (cause he’s really good at it) and I want to see if he likes it enough to do it full time.

We’ll be empty nesters in 2 years, and I talk to my hubby all the time about what RV I might want. We won’t be able to do it Marty-style, but we can travel often.

Thanks for the great emails and blogs. Looking forward to that class you’re keeping us in suspense about!
Have fun at Burning Man! It sounds really hot though!

You’ll have to tell us more about Brainwave Entertainment, Angie. I have an idea of what you are talking about, but would like to know more. I would certainly like to get more projects done in less time especially first thing in the morning. Thanks for commenting here.
